These people are looking forward to Jesus second coming. They have been Christians for only a few years. They are our brothers and sisters.

India Was Wonderful

Michael and I had a wonderful time in India. We loved the people. They really got into our hearts. I hope we can return.

Hooray for Visa's

Our passports have arrived from the India Consulate with our visas. We are so excited!

• Passion is important. God put a passion in each of us and if we want to be joyful we should follow that passion and be the person God intended.

• Marry someone you know will support your passion, respect you for who you are, and help you follow the path intended just for you.

• Don’t let other people’s opinion, behavior or habits dictate who you are. God gave you a passion so live it, dance it, sing it - - Let your self go free to be yourself.

• In line with the Biblical Adam’s commission, care for the creatures that share Earth with us. (See Genesis)

• Make sure your family and friends feel your love and affection. Draw them into your world and let them take energy from your passion.

Passport at Last

Today I picked up the mail before heading out to church. To my relief my passport was in the box. It had been delayed at the processing center for me to send them a different copy of my birth certificate. That all done I tried not to bite my nails while I waited. Our October 9 departure is fast upon us and we need to send the passports off for visas yet. One more roadblock for God to remove is money. We have not yet raised the needed amount to completely fund the trip. We wrote letters to friends and relatives. We held several garage sales. This has been a lesson in faith for us. More India Trip News

I am so excited I am posting this in both of my blogs.

Michael's Passport came today. When mine comes I will send them both to get visas stamped in them for India.

This week we plan to get our shots. Ouch! Better that than coming down with typhoid or other nasty illnesses.

We are having a garage sale this week to help finance our trip. My sister Linnaea is also having a garage sale to help us pay for our trip and my parents are contributing items for our sales. Busy, busy, busy......

Keep praying for us as the time gets closer for us to depart.

Plane Tickets

India, Here we come!!! We have our itinerary and have purchased tickets on credit. I looked up the places we will be stopping and changing planes. I’ve even printed off maps for our scrapbook. Our flights will take us from Kansas City, Missouri, USA to Hyderadab, India. Now we have to have faith that the money will be provided. God is good.

India Mission Trip

In October Michael and I (Kristine) will be leaving with a five team group on a mission trip to India. We are excited about going to India. Michael will run the audiovisual equipment, and I will run the children's program. A pastor and his wife are on the team to serve as the evangelists. We also have at least one nurse to give health talks and health screenings. People will be bussed in from five villages for the meetings.

The Holy Spirit is being poured out in India. After a series of meetings about 150 people are baptized per village. This is in contrast to a few years ago when only 100 people a year were baptized in all of India. Jesus said that the gospel will be preached in all the world and then the end will come. With over 300,000 villages yet to hear the name of Jesus the work is not finished.

Our task now is to raise the money for our airplane tickets and living expenses while in India. If you feel lead to help with this project there are two things you can do. One is to pray daily for this mission trip. Pray for the people of India we will be able to reach. Pray for the safety and health of the team members. A check may be sent to Sunnydale Seventh-day Adventist Church, India Fund. The money will go directly to cover the expenses of this venture. Thank you for your support.

A Blessing From Nature

David and I reciently took our daughters and their boyfriends to Ha Ha Tanka State park in Southern Missouri. We spent the Sabbath Day enjoying nature together. The scenes were breath taking. The wild flowers caught my attention as well. Jesus mentioned flowers . See Luke 12:27
